Equipment rental is included in your monthly package fee.  By your acceptance of these services you agree to be bound by the RMIS Acceptable Use Policy at www.redmtn.ca and a minimum 2 year term with RMIS.  The radio equipment remains the property of RMIS. 

Radio equipment includes 2.4 transeo, 2.4 orthogon or a 900 radio as well as a power supply, modem and surge protector.  If required there is also an antennae (dish, grid or stinger).  The grounding plate when needed is purchased by the client at a rate of $35 plus tax.  Routers if desired are purchased by the client.

The 2.4 transeo and orthogon radios are used for direct line of sight.  The 2.4 orthogon radio is the newest version.  The 900 radios are for sites having obstructions in line of site or other more difficult installations.

An antennae will help boost the signal to the radios and are used when necessary.  The charge is $50 for a stinger or $75 for the dish or grid antennae.
